It’s a little hard to read, but it says “NY4EVER”. And not for nothing, but considering they are PA plates, I don’t think 4EVER means what you think it does.

And that means this hell week is (hopefully) officially over. I’m hoping for a much better week ahead. And I need a much better week, as you may have been able to tell from my increasingly bitter tone, or I will snap completely! So I threw some salt around the house and burned some sage. Well, not really, because that would be really messy and I’m already too depressed to do basic shit. I can’t afford to make a bigger mess. (I can’t afford anything, really. No, seriously.) But I did it in my mind. So I’m gonna say a few chants and do a little dance and if that does not work, if this week is not just neutral but fucking awesome, I’m going to animate insanity wolf and let him fucking tear through my life destroying everything!

They give letter grades at your elementary school? We got 1, 2, 3, 4, and even 4 only corresponded with the statement, “Needs improvement.” Christ on a cracker.
No, no. The report cards are numbers, but the grades on his tests and papers are percentages, and my mind just converts to letters because it’s easier.

The oldest munchkin just handed me his paper all upset because he got an 80% on it. And I was like, “it’s a good grade, you tried your best, and you do very well all the time.” And he was like, “but I got an 85% once too!” And then I was like, “chill out, sweetie. You have A’s on everything else and you’re in third grade. Wait til shit gets really hard!” (But much nicer and mommish than that.)
So five minutes go by and then he asks “will I get a job because I got written up on the bus in first grade?” And then I was like “Well, I never got written up on the bus and I can’t get a job, so…I guess you’re good!”
Just kidding. I told him they wouldn’t look at getting written up on the bus in first grade and he had a long ways to go, so he should try not to worry so much about it now.
Don’t get me wrong, I like that he likes school and I don’t have to fight with him about doing work, or even going, like I have to with another little munchkin. And getting good grades is great! But I kind of wish he wasn’t starting with the uber disappointment over a B already. I fear the first C.
I have to get up to go to the third doctor’s appointment of the week! And I have to wake up early enough to put on makeup — which I never do — because I couldn’t resist making a problem much worse. But at least this time it’s only my face. Can’t make shit too much worse there.
So there is a beyond gross vid of a physician testifying at a public hearing in DC on gay marriage. And there is a ton o’gross in there, but her main argument is that gay marriage will normalize gay sex — which she equates with anal — and then that will be taught in sex ed at school. And she keeps repeating how the anus “is for something to come out of and for nothing to go into.”
Now, all of that is sad and I’m not going to get into a huge thing, because I have no energy left this week. But there are commenters arguing against her, which is nice, but one commenter attempts to argue that the vagina, while used in peen/vag sex as an “input” (forgive), is also used as an “ouput” (forgive again). Which is true. But they argued that this was true because urine comes from our vaginas.
So I’m just saying, I’d not worry about what’s being taught in sex ed, because clearly, it’s not working.
I think the purple and the caps and the neat was too much for me. The blue is much calmer. And now I match with Wordz. But I promise this will be the last change for quite some time. The next time I get the urge to delete, I’ll just fucking do it, instead of playing musical narcissistic — and hideously colorful! — avatars.
